I've had a lot of different colors on my hair but unfortunately Platinum blond is NOT a color I easily accomplished :( but y'all know me, I can't seem to give up easily!
I checked a few reviews on Bond Angel Plex and they were pretty good, so why not give it one more try lol. Unfortunately I had a few disasters before I got it right, and that's not to say that the product is bad, it's more of a reflection on my lack of knowledge :(
My husband helped me out and after a few tries we finally got it right lol
I used 2 different bleach powders for the process, Beach baby lights by L'ORREAL and High preformance quick blue by L'OREAL.
First I used the beach baby lights (entire bag) with #1 bond maker, the instructions say to add 2ml of step one (bond maker) for each 10g of bleach powder but when I did that it wasn't the right consistency but since I've never bleached my hair before I didn't know that and it didn't really worked:(
The 2nd time I tried it it was a lot better but Ralph missed most of my hair hahaha, again WE HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE! so I had to try again but in between each bleaching I let a day go by, I didn't want to damage my hair, and to be honest if it wasn't for the step 2 ( bond re-constructor I would of would of had that ugly crunchy hair you DON'T want.
My hair felt horrible after each bleaching but once I applied the 2nd step it was a huge difference!!!!!! If you need any reason to get this product, one definitely is the bond re constructor....
After all that I've been through with this process, I have come to the conclusion that this is a good product and overall I give it 4 starts out of 5. The reason I give it 4 stars is because the instructions are very misleading for a person like me (not an expert), even though it said to do 2mL of step one for each 10 g of bleaching powder, when I did that it didn't go well. To get the right consistency I used half the bottle for the one bag of bleaching powder (28.35g). Honestly you need to do it by eyeing it, because if it's too runny it won't stay on your hair and if is too pasty it won't bleach AT ALL!!!
